Students visit the Classroom Occupational Vocational Training Program Cuisine taught at the IES "John Bosco" Lorca (03/03/2014)

Alumni Hall of Totana Occupational visited last Wednesday, February 26th Professional Qualification Program Cuisine that is currently taught in the "San Juan Bosco" Institute of Lorca.

Also visited the Hotel "Jardines de Lorca", particularly the kitchen facilities and the restaurant, in order to learn firsthand the professional work performed by employees of the hotel in the hospitality industry.

This extracurricular activity the students were able to get a little closer to the possibilities offered by this training as a future career path, since the practical workshop being taught in the classroom is the Cuisine and Pastry.

The PCPI are a great way to promote social, educational and employment of young people who have not obtained the Diploma in Secondary Education, as in the case of these students.

This compensatory education program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment through the Service to Diversity in the Region of Murcia.

It lasts a school year and takes place in the municipal cultural center facilities "Jail".

Coordination and monitoring of Occupational Classroom takes place between the city of Totana and IES Prado, this course students are assigned.
