The users of the Day Centre for People with Mental Illness "Princess Letizia" and the Day Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities "José Moya" conducted in the hand of the Association "Canico" cultural output guided through the historical center of our municipality.
On this journey they could learn the history of the parish church of Santiago, the history of the first settlers of Totana, the origin of the shield and the flag and the traditional division of people into two large districts (Mayor Sevilla and Mayor Triana) and as the peculiar history of the main sources of water supplied to each of the districts respectively.
These activities are part of the educational programs of both centers, specifically in the areas of knowledge management and environment or community and are intended as the name suggests, the user knows and then an autonomous and responsible use of the resources around.
