Totana City Council plans to create regulations for use of the trademark "Totana Origin. Agricultural and Livestock Quality" (TO) to collect security requirements and conditions of the products covered by this corporate image.
The Councillor for Agriculture, Diego Muñoz, and the CEO of Food Industry and Agricultural Training, Ángel García Lidón met recently along with experts from both governments, to coordinate action to enable the implementation of these rules to use the TO.
This document will include different sections as persons authorized to use the mark, the common characteristics of the products, the way in which the features are checked, controls use of the mark to be made and the liabilities that may be incurred by the inappropriate use of the mark.
In addition, interested companies must complete a mandatory information to be part of the corporate brand, such as the name and address of the applicant, the requirements, conditions, origin or any other characteristic that is to certify, to adopt measures to check these features , control and surveillance systems, among others.
Through this corporate image will be promoted outside the regional all products that are produced in the town boundaries, as farmers and ranchers will use this new brand as a symbol of identity, reference and quality of the products they market cooperatives and organizations involved.
The new image of agricultural and livestock products deTotana municipality, through what is the symbol, in which several striking colors are inserted, is represented by the "T" which would be a head of cattle and "O" the fruit of agricultural products.
This logo is intended to standardize the external promotion of the products and encourage users and consumers know firsthand the origin of the products they are consuming low quality parameters and excellence.
