A total of 17 students of VII Promotion of International Baccalaureate (IB) IES "Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu" Totana today received their diplomas during the ceremony institutional thereof held in the hall acts of the school.
The event was attended by the Director General of Educational Planning and Attention to Diversity of the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment María Begoña Iniesta, the mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, the Councillor for Education, Maria Josefa Sanchez and the director of IES, Juan Manuel Martínez Pérez.
Furthermore, given together representatives of the educational community of the school, as the coordinator of the IB program, Margarita Martínez Lorca, President of AMPA, Germán Ibáñez, teachers, parents and students participating in the program.
IES director "Alfonso X El Sabio" of Murcia, Rafael Marin, who is next to totanero IES, the only ones who made this academic offer in the region of Murcia and beginning in 2005 and 2006, respectively, was also present.
