The Union of Farmers and Ranchers Lower Guadalentin (COAG) held on the evening of Thursday 28th ordinary general meeting to assess the activity report and the balance of 2012.
The head office explained the details of the main activities carried out week to week and month to month by the Organization in 2012, while that exposed the breakdown of the balance of revenue and expenditure of the past year, which has resulted in deficit as a result of nonpayment of support ATRIA by the Ministry of Agriculture.
It was also reported that the city of Totana owed several years and several grants for several concepts, although all had been possible to stand by the existence of the reserve fund of the Organization, generated by the remnants of the past 15 years.
The President explained in his report to the assembly, several acts performed last and this year, as the latest manifestation assemblies and on the problem of secure grape, which would be addressed at the end of the assembly in the presence of Regional President of COAG-Murcia and the Secretary of Agriculture, Miguel Padilla and Pedro García respectively.
Regarding the renewal of the Board, the head of the office proceeded to read the nomination submitted by a group of partners, in the manner and timeframe.
Given the failure to submit another application either individually complete in the same assembly, was proclaimed elected this candidacy headed by Isidore Cayuela Tudela, for the period of four years.
Isidoro Cayuela out as novelties in the new Board incorporating both as a member of a female-grape producer Rosa-Tudela, such as incorporating as Vice President José Luis Hernández.
Finally addressed the assembly, and with the presence of the President and the Secretary of Agriculture regional COAG, the specific problem of insurance table grapes and Agroseguro refusal to indemnify claims, if they had losses greater than 50%.
Pedro Garcia briefed the meeting held on Monday 25 at the Ministry of Agriculture, after consulting the Minister of Agriculture of Murcia and the Deputy Minister and the Director General of ENESA, in which there was a breakthrough with regard to certain fruit, but nothing concrete progress was made on the insurance table grapes 2013, how could ratify José Luis Hernández, also present at the meeting.
Finally the President of COAG, Miguel Padilla, closed the meeting by congratulating the President and the new policy for his reelection and moving support COAG Murcia any action is decided from the Lower Guadalentin COAG.
Also showed their support for the realization in Totana in a specific meeting on the issue of insurance grape in the coming weeks to decide, if there are no solutions before the problem, possible actions of protest both Murcia and Madrid.
After the meeting most of the attendees were able to taste a wine and tapas and snacks made with regional products.
