in the church of San Francisco de Lorca the next to last of the concerts that the association 'Musical Heritage and Friends of Music' of Lorca has organized for the first edition of Early Music Festival.
The concert will be performed by Pedro countertenor Carlos Perez and Rafael Perez organist, with a program focused on two of the most important figures of the Baroque: Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach.
The first two works interpreted different.
The first one, 'Stabat Mater', was composed for the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, and could be the first religious work of Vivaldi.
It is dominated by slow tempos and minor keys, and repeat the first three movements.
While the media used by the author for this work are rather cheap, there is nonetheless sincere and heartfelt expression of pain excited of the Virgin Mary at the foot of the cross.
In fact, rhythmic figuration and melodic patterns of some of the most important words of the text evoke specific images in the listener Mother pain.
The regular rhythm of the melody and continuo suggested in this' Stabat Mater 'serious step and cadence of a procession, as happens in the next work program, the famous' Agnus Dei' from the 'Mass in B minor 'of Johann Sebastian Bach.
The teacher wrote in ritornello form of rhetorical figures full of high emotional content, creating an environment that describes the Lamb of God, who died for us.
Bach does everything a display of mastery by combining voice and music perfectly, both with melodies full of chromaticism, which is usually associated with repentance.

Cl Daquin and Fugue in G major BWV 576 by JS Bach.
Pedro Perez, a native of Totana, Flute and Voice studied at the conservatory 'Oscar Esplá' of Alicante, finishing his studies with Honors in Thesis.
Interested in the interpretation of early music has specialized with different teachers, completing his training with Carlos Mena.
As soloist treasures a vast experience, participating in recitals, concerts, assemblies and opera stage shows.
Closely related to choral music, since 2000 is director of the Polyphonic Choir 'Vox Musicalis' group that has an ongoing activity and which has won several awards, in and out of Spain.
Canto currently teaches at the School of Dramatic Art in Murcia and works as a professor of voice for the Teatro Circo Murcia.
