Local police recalls that penalties for not picking up dog droppings or street painting graffiti on public roads ranging between 150 and 3,000 euros, and warns that it will step up surveillance in compliance with the city ordinance and possession urban hygiene pet for the inconvenience caused by droppings in public.
For this reason the City urges pet owners to withdraw droppings road to avoid neighborhood complaints and administrative sanctions.
The most frequent reasons for sanctions in this matter are for throwing glass and other objects to the street, urinating in public, take out the trash on days and times not allowed, not pick up after the pets of the street, placing signage without proper authorization by distributing pamphlets and advertising without the required permit, among others.
The penalties imposed for these offenses range up to 150 euros for those considered mild, up to 1,500 euros for serious and up to 3,000 euros for the most serious.
Public awareness
The Urban Hygiene ordinance states that animal owners are responsible for damage or conditions to people and things and any action that causes dirt in public and that in the absence of the owner, will be responsible for accompanying the animal at the time of action.
According collects municipal ordinance, municipal officials are entitled, at any time, to require the owner or holder of the animal immediate repair condition caused.
Not removing droppings road is considered minor offense both both ordinances and may be fined up to 600 euros.
