The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Councillor of Commerce, Francisco Hernández, Murcia attended a conference on the 'Comprehensive Plan Competitiveness Support Retail Trade of Spain' which was closed by the Secretary of State for Tourism Jaime Garcia Legaz, and the Director General of Trade, Carmen Cárceno.
During the day, officials of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness explained the cornerstones of the comprehensive plan to strengthen the competitiveness of retail Spain, which aims to strengthen employment, boost sales, to incorporate new technologies and improve management retail.
It also exposed the financing lines for retail ICO, which pose a major injection of funding, amounting to 28.6 million euros.
Additionally, this forum presented the basic outline of future revitalization plan of retail in the region, which at present Executive Murcia works in collaboration with traders and social agents, which will complement the state and aims to promote, upgrade and improve the sector's growth.
In its preparation traders are expecting and social agents.
The axes of the future regional plan to Promote Retail will be the simplification of administrative procedures and funding for the opening of new stores and the modernization of existing ones.
