The Exhibition Hall "Gregorio Cebrian" hosts a photographic exhibition on women around the world who suffer gender discrimination on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women.
With this collection of photographs, presented with the motto "Under the Same Sun" is to visualize women around the world who live in silence and anonymity.
As pointed Councilwoman Equal Opportunities, Eulalia Sandoval, these women live "under the same sun" but with different realities, informed by the country where they live, their established roles and often suffer gender discrimination.
This exhibition is part of the activities organized to mark the International Day Against Gender Violence which falls on November 25.
During this month, local schoolchildren visit the exhibition which explains the different circumstances experienced by women, for ethnic reasons, suffer these differences.
The exhibition, on loan to the City by the Directorate General of Cultural and Regional Library, is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 1:30 and in the afternoon from 17:00 to 19:00 hours until November 8.
