The three groups of Totana Town city have made a proposal to be discussed at the regular full for the month of October, for the approval of the Manifesto to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which marks the next 25th November.
The municipal initiative endorsing the political groups represented collected approve the manifesto and proceed to read at a public event that will take place on November 25 to coincide with the celebration of this commemorative day, at 12:00 hours, at the Consistory doors.
The proposal is promoted, in order to boost its cooperation with the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities as the body responsible for developing equal opportunities policies in the town of Totana.
The City Council has been carrying out actions in coordination with the General Directorate of Prevention of Domestic Violence and Juvenile Court, aimed to raise awareness about this social problem and develop a culture of prevention of gender violence as a means to eradicate it.
