The Ministry of Agriculture, the Region of Murcia, Valencia and the irrigators have developed a Memorandum ensures and strengthens the Tajo-Segura.
This Memorandum is born of consensus.
The irrigators have actively participated in the preparation, doing a commendable job, demonstrating responsibility and high-mindedness.
They, the farmers, are the major consumers, and they support the Memorandum "to the letter".
The memorandum is a document that replaces confrontation by dialogue and consensus and ends with the absurd "water war" unnecessarily generated in the past.
Never before had committed a so firmly, and to raise law, the will of the Government of Spain to ensure the Tajo-Segura.
