The Ministry of Agriculture and Water will fully fund this year the arrangement of the four rural roads called "The Gate", also known as Path-Essences, "The Forest", "The Yesares" and "The Cabezuelas", all them access to high-traffic urban and agricultural use.
So it has informed the Minister Antonio Cerda to the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, in the course of the meeting held to address some issues of concern to this Council that affect this county.
The meeting was also attended by the Director General of Irrigation and Rural Development, Julio Bernal, and Council totaneros María José Bedia and Diego Muñoz.
The execution of these works allow the conditioning of about three miles from the public road and will be completed early next year, since they are already completed projects by municipal technicians.
In this way, straightened the following lengths: The Gate (970 meters), The Forest (965), Los Yesares (2420) and The Cabezuelas (700).
In addition, city officials explained to the owner of Agriculture and Water the state in which the project is set to develop the Consistory, the Community Irrigation Totana and the Autonomous Region for the construction of dams or so-called "rainwater tanks" .
This work will allow the collection of rainwater from the boulevards of the Cemetery, Holy, Pears and Forest Road, which is currently under study to choose the most appropriate technical site.
Also realized the project bidding process for future geological Lébor Dam, which will build the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) and will allow the collection and storage of rainwater in this wadi.
Finally, the mayor broke down allegations that the city of Totana has submitted to the proposed Basin Hydrological Plan of the Tagus to, well, defend the interests of farmers and neighbors in Totana.
