Hundreds of people accompanying pattern image Totana, Santiago Apostle, in the procession held on the occasion of local festival (26/07/2013)

Municipal authorities, civil and religious, and hundreds of people joined pattern image Totana, St. James, in a solemn procession, which was cover the shoulders by the brothers of the Brotherhood of The Flagellation, and toured the streets yesterday location coinciding with the local festival.

This event began with a Mass held in the Church of Santiago El Mayor in honor of the patron St. James, after the Mass, celebrated by the parish priest, José Ruiz Garcia.

The procession was headed by Senior Illustrious Cabildo Processions and accompanied by the Band of Totana Marching Band, which toured the Constitution square, Pilar Street, Don José María, Avenida Santa Eulalia and San Antonio.

After the procession, the image returned to its church of Santiago El Mayor, where it waits a year until their return to draw numerous faithful in procession through Totana.

Civil authorities and representatives of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions presiding Superior procession wore a black ribbon in mourning for the tens of rail crash victims registered in Galicia.
