The Department of Infrastructure and Maintenance of the City has reported that the Highways Agency is carrying out works to avoid flooding rains in the vials of the new school La Cruz and Rulo area.
The council in this area, María José Bedia, explained that after the recent rains was found that the current stormwater pipeline in some areas of the town, it was not enough to prevent flooding waters to large storms.
For this reason, and thanks to the efforts of the Department, these works are being undertaken new pipeline to prevent the floods from recurring.
Specifically, says Bedia, two performances are being made on the one hand, on the ring road roundabout north towards La Cruz school is building a new pipeline to the road 340 for rainwater to drain in that direction and not to the college of La Cruz.
On the other hand, will start in a few days another performance in Rulo area in the attachments to homes that were flooded by the channeling of rainwater.
