Totana host from 26 to 28 April, the National Assembly XLII Hemophilia Symposium and Medical-Social twentieth organized by the Spanish Federation of Hemophilia (FEDHEMO) under the slogan "Not one unit more or one unit less," a point outreach meeting and event-related social science this disease and other congenital coagulopathies in Spain.
The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, hosted a reception totanero institutional Dr. Manuel Moreno, and other representatives of FEDHEMO to know the details of this national assembly that will house the city, between the permanent training center in Hemophilia "The Pond" and the Hotel "Executive Sport".
These meetings are public showcase once a year certifies the commitment of people with hemophilia and their families for the best geriatric care, and brings together over 400 people from affected patients and family members and representatives of associations that make up the Federation.
In addition, the symposium attendees can form in the latest medical advances for the comprehensive treatment of their disease with renowned speakers and where lines are agreed FEDHEMO work.
FEDHEMO is a non-profit organization established in 1971 and declared a public utility in 2000 by resolution of the Council of Ministers.
The integrated 21 regional and provincial associations and aims to represent and defend the rights of people with hemophilia and other congenital coagulopathies.
To do this, they are in constant dialogue with the public administration and health workers to influence socio improvement policies, education and psychosocial support to patients and their families and raising awareness.
