PP: "Totana is one of the municipalities in the region to better withstand unemployment enduring an unemployment rate of the total population" (02/04/2013)

Totana is one of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia best supporting enduring unemployment unemployment percentage of its total population, with Puerto Lumbreras and Abarán.

This is evident in the latest study of the Regional Centre of Statistics has been conducted in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training, distributed by municipalities, districts, neighborhoods and towns.

Totana has a share of 7.9 percent, which means the total 2414 30 549 unemployed people in total population.

Below are just Totana with lowest unemployment rate Aledo, Puerto Lumbreras, Fuente Alamo and Abarán.

Yecla and Sewer are 30,000 municipalities with the highest percentage of unemployed.

The Union ranks first in percentage of unemployed (16.23%) compared to the total population.

For PP Totana, this system makes available detailed information to take measures concerning employment policies, social and educational, although rates are not based on labor force, but only total number of unemployed.

The PP believes that the Government of Spain is undertaking reforms and making the decisions that must in the coming months to reduce unemployment rates in line with EU demands adjustments.
