The Department of Sports reports that on Saturday, February 23, was held at the sports center "December 6th Phase Local School Sports Athletics, organized by the Sports Department of the City of Totana, attended school 106 the different schools of the town, in the categories juvenile, infant, and young cadet, both male and female form.
All participants had the opportunity to practice different sports of athletics, such as high jump, long jump, shot put, speed and endurance.
The competition concluded with the awards ceremony for the top three finishers in each of the categories, by the sports council, Bartolomé Pérez Pallares.
The final champions at this stage were local athletics: Ginés Rosa (Santiago), in male juvenile category; Cindy Ceron (The Miracle), in juvenile female; Isaac David Knight (Prado Mayor) in male children, Laura Tárraga (Prado Mayor ), in female child; Mostafa Koala (Prado Mayor) in male cadet; Fatima Zara (Prado Mayor) in female cadet, and Mauricio Alexander (Juan de la Cierva), at junior male.
In addition, this test was also qualifying for the Final Regional School Sport Athletics, organized by the Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport in the Region of Murcia, next on 8 and 9 March in Lorca.
