On Friday January 25, various events were held at the IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu occasion of the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Of these, it is worth noting that various musical activities students developed center.
Specifically, students of the subject of music in 1st and 2nd year of Professor Jesús Martínez Cánovas offered to students, parents and teachers from the school attended, an example of the practical content that had worked in the classroom during the 1st quarter.
The 25 high school students from the group began performing with various flute current songs accompanied with background music and some videos projected.
The songs were:
"Somebody That I Used to Know" (Gotye)
"Do not compare me" (Alejandro Sanz)
"Canon" (Pachelbel)
"Bread and butter" (Hall Effect)
"Rolling In The Deep" (Adele)
The audience thanked with applause constants magnificent performance of students, especially taking into account the particular difficulty of some of the works performed.
After that, a group of three students performed a play with body rhythm, seated around a table.
The performance required great concentration as in the three minutes it lasted requiring high rhythmic control and perfect synchronization between them to come out all right.
The group spent many rhythmic patterns used by the group and added another Mayumaná different, creating one's own work that made them public entusiasmase.

Later, the group of high school students performed with electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, drums and singer, a number of current songs you must highlight the great effort and interest of all, to learn how to play each one his instrument and coordinate for group performance from October to now.
Each group was formed with four instrumentalists and a singer, who learned to play their respective instrument and once achieved a basic level, were coordinated with the rest of his teammates to perform the song chosen.
The songs were:
"Guilty" (Yellow Lizard)
"Peter Pan" (The Song of Crazy)
"Before I'm New" (Fito and Fitipaldis)
These interpretations encouraged the audience at the center and were received with great enthusiasm by the participants and the audience.
Finally there was a karaoke contest in which there were 15 participants of all ages and courses from downtown and was a show for all attendees, including the jury of several professors.
Highlighted many of the participants, some of their staging, other for control of the stage and others for their musical qualities, but they all enjoyed the warm welcome from the public, once again delivered the contestants who put every effort to refine , and express their voice and with their body.
The center has been assessed as very positive these activities and was pleasantly surprised at the huge student participation in school activities, especially in the musical, which have served to make visible what worked in the classroom and artistic skills that many of the students at the school have.
