The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", in collaboration with the Councils of Citizen Participation and Youth council of Totana, resumed yesterday afternoon in leisure activities aimed at young people's educational Totana.
This activity, which answers to the name Youth Space, takes place every Thursday evening at the Neighborhood Community Center "San Roque", at 18.00 hours to 20.00 hours, at which young people can attend from 12 years for free and also has oversight and revitalization of two special educators.
The program is designed as a line of attention to the needs of the youth population of the municipality, both encouraged their active participation in the organization's own space and in their daily life, providing a reference point in their own neighborhood and creating meeting spaces near neighbors.
Among the activities planned for this quarter, based on the proposal of the young, are the following: Ping-Pong tournaments and Board Games, Free Internet Access, Movies Film Projection, Championship Play-Station, Fiesta Carnival Film Forum, Indoor Football Tournament, etcetera.
The Youth Space, now reopens after the Christmas holiday period, was launched in the month of October 2012, with a great reception from the kids in the neighborhood of San Roque and other nearby areas, sample this is that during the first quarter of activity were 29 recipients of the various activities developed here.
