The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Popular Culture Councilman Alfonso Cayuela, yesterday visited the exhibition "The comic history of Visual Arts" in the Exhibition Hall Gregory Cebrian, which promotes the Circle of Visual Arts of the Region Murcia, which develops the history and evolution of the genre from a selection of original comics from 1916 to today, the comic products and educational panels.
This is the second exhibition Totana reaching the hands of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which last July and organized the exhibition "The cracks of time. Now Spanish Art", which received a score of prestigious works contemporary artists, some of them Murcia.
The mayor of Culture explained that in the original sample was collected comics and toys personal merchandising national and Mort and Phil, as Tintin and Asterix Europeans or Americans as Batman, The Hulk, Spiderman, Superman, Captain America, among others.
The 'Tour of Visual Arts' is leading to municipalities exhibition projects designed from artistic funds Autonomous Community has acquired over the years.
In this sense, the mayor thanked the Department's commitment to the realization of this exhibition, as it is offered free of charge, an exhibition of quality network so that they can supplement their programming and optimizing resources in the current crisis economical.
The exhibition runs until October 14 at Totana from Monday to Saturday, 18 to 21 hours, and on Sundays and holidays, from 12 to 14 and from 18 to 21 hours, respectively.
