Totana receives a total of 340,488 euros through the Employment District Councils to combat unemployment and contribute to the development of rural areas of the municipality.
The grant, part of the "Initiative for Rural Development in Local Authorities", aims, encouraging agricultural combat unemployment the employment of workers in emerging activities in agriculture, by performing a series of actions that contribute labor, and , to the enhancement and development of endogenous depressed rural areas of the Region of Murcia.
The Councillor for Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, explained that Totana is the municipality of the region that will benefit most from the County Councils, and thanks to the grant can hire a total of 78 people, in two shifts for three months, from October to March.
The filing process ended in July.
