The Department of Social Care and Citizenship reports that during the first seven months of 2012 there have been several training actions which have involved about 400 people in the town highlighting the participation in these immigrant women and youth in order to encourage their social inclusion.
Training activities undertaken have been about the acquisition of knowledge in new technologies, social skills, literacy, basic education for child support, volunteerism, educational support and improved partnership management.
Looking to the fourth quarter is scheduled to be held in collaboration with the National Association of Abraham Project workshop socio Basic Computer training focused on responding to the demand for people with special needs of social inclusion.
The workshop will be held, free of charge, in the computer room of the Department of Citizen Participation in morning and will last for 40 hours.
