A total of 20 people with problems of social exclusion and poor successfully concluded its participation in the municipal program of training for social inclusion (Forin) that aims to enable them to experience and occupational training, according to sources from the Department of Social Services.
This program was launched last March and was created to support participants in their situation through the development of social work support concierge, dining room, housekeeping, maintenance and gardening.
It also assists them in socio-community of resources such as the Warehouse Totana Hall, the Senior Center, the Day Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities "José Moya Trilla" and various sports facilities in the municipality.
Participants received a grant of ten euros daily for their participation in the program whose average duration for each of the cases has been a month.
The experience was highly valued by both participants, resource managers and various organizations and local social actors, and that provides a "constructive and positive alternative Parea social inclusion and participation of the person who is in a social difficulties, that the mere obtaining financial assistance, "according to the mayor of the branch, Josefa Maria Sanchez.
In this sense the program aims to improve and exceed the performance merely economic assistance and, enabling the production of knowledge, skills and abilities useful and necessary to further the process of social integration and employment, and encourage self esteem and social participants.
