Colombicultura Association of Santiago near the Totana Barcelonista Peña in collaboration with the Association of rare diseases Dgenes, celebrate another year in a row the traditional festivities of the Virgen de la Paloma in the hamlet of Morti, Lentiscosa and Breeches.
Music, barbecue, petanque competition and solidarity with people suffering from a rare disease coexist on days 10, 11 and August 12, 2012.
In this issue we will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening of Friday August 10, the group's music totanero Aires Latinos and join us on Saturday the Alameda duo and the group's tie Tarzan.
Sunday is celebrated the traditional Mass and procession of the Virgen de la Paloma with the assistance of the municipal authorities and the Maid of the Virgin embodies Tudela Sarabia, with the collaboration of the band of bugles and drums of the Brotherhood of Denial, the folk group Totana Santiago and San Juan's crew Paretón.
On Saturday from 11 to 17 hours will be held on competition of petanque in specifically designated areas for the same.
Brand new this year are several: on Friday celebrated the feast of cubata, 2 x 5 euros from 12.30 pm and Sunday at the end of Mass the organization provide a taste of popcorn for all attendees.
Finally as an act of solidarity and consolidated the three-day celebration of traditional raffles were held in solidarity with over 60 gifts donated by businesses, companies and associations and other local municipalities, for people with a rare disease (Association of disease Association DGENES rare and affected families and AELIP lipodystrophies).
