The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Maria Josefa Sanchez and Councilwoman Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, and the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Thomas Perez Fuentes, have given the drawing contest prizes "Grow in Security", ten students from Primary 5 ° of the nine centers participating in the contest.
This drawing contest is part of the campaign "Grow in Security" is aimed at raising awareness, promotion and dissemination of occupational risk prevention in the schools of the municipality.
The City Council in collaboration and financing with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health has developed this campaign since 2004 "recognizes the important and necessary work of educating in the culture of prevention, no doubt the most effective way to create safe habits and patterns work ", as explained by the mayor of Education.
Also, the mayor recalled that grows in this campaign is targeted at security awareness and promote preventive culture in the school population of the municipality, is aimed at Primary 5 pupils.
In developing this campaign have been involved nine schools with a total of 245 schools, and professional activities of SISCO.
Among the activities included in this campaign highlights the "Drawing Competition" which consists of two phases: the first to the second municipal and regional level.
The competition at the municipal level have been awarded with a digital camera: Pedro Martínez Rosa, College of Santa Eulalia, Ana Li, San Jose school, Ana García Muñoz, Deitania College.

The director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Council thanked the collaboration that has provided year after year in the dissemination of this campaign, which aims to spread the benefits of occupational risk prevention from children.
Meanwhile, the mayor has collaborated to continue betting with the campaign for successive years, and thanked both the directors and teachers of all schools in their collaboration and involvement in the culture of prevention, congratulating the winners of event which will become part of the final regional competition.
