The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez and Councilwoman Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, have held a working meeting with the Organization of Professional and Business Women of the Region of Murcia OMEP and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs for Totana new areas of collaboration between both institutions in order to promote female entrepreneurship in the township.
Thus, as explained Councillor Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, is working on a collaboration agreement between the City OMEP which will consider the provision of this association in the municipality, well as conducting workshops, seminars and training activities, etc.
Thus, according to the municipal official is given a boost to the activities of entrepreneurs totaneras working hand in hand from the hand of the president of the Association of Businesswomen, Josefa Crespo.
Baeza recalled that the City is already involved in the Athena project promoted by the OMEP through which two local entrepreneurs are acquiring knowledge through the practice of mentoring with a senior businessman.
