The Department of Social Services, Citizen Participation and Neighborhood Collective has made a tour with young people to the neighboring municipality of Alhama de Murcia, specifically its historic center and the Archaeological Museum of Los Banos.
This activity is intended that these young people, mainly immigrants, aware of the social and cultural resources of both the municipality and other municipalities Totana of their immediate environment.
This activity of municipal officers, in collaboration with staff of the Archaeological Museum of Los Banos, enabled the young people know the historical center of the town of Alhama well as the history of the museum and archaeological site of Roman baths which house this facility .
Also enjoyed a painting exhibition entitled "Brushstrokes of the Past" and consists of works from the collections of the Foundation Board of St. Elizabeth Villanueva del Río Segura and Garcia de Leon Pizarro in Madrid.
This activity has been conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security through the Directorate General for Immigrant Integration and the European Integration Fund under the Municipal Project: Promotion of Access to socio-community resources for Participation social and civic life.
