The Department of Social Services, Citizen Participation and Neighborhood Collective has done, in collaboration with the FADE of Murcia, several awareness-raising talks in institutes Juan de la Cierva and Prado Mayor addressed to students of 1 high school and 4 of the ESO.

These awareness-raising talks are included in program activities Awareness and Fight Against Racial Discrimination and Xenophobia 2012: "A SEA OF VALUES".

This activity has been developed by the foundation Murcia FADE with the coordination of municipal officers in the area of ​​cultural exchange and collaboration of guidance departments of both institutions.

FADE The Foundation is an NGO that aims Murcia promote active citizenship and involved in the prevention and resolution of social problems affecting the development of people, both in Murcia, as in the South.

During these talks has been presented to more than 200 students from IES IES Prado Mayor and Juan de la Cierva project YOUNG PRO-DEVELOPMENT-based linkages between young people from Latin America, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru, and young Europeans -Belgian, Dutch and Spanish-American and Latino residents in Europe, working together aspects of economic and social development such as migration or social change through a platform that involves joint action by development.

Besides these young people have had the opportunity to discuss the Millennium Development Goals United Nations, raised by this organization to achieve development goals by 2015.

They are an entity reference for civil society in promoting Murcia an active and committed volunteer through programs developed for groups and individuals who are vulnerable.

The talks have been conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security through the Directorate General for Immigrant Integration and the European Integration Fund under the Municipal Project: Promotion of Access to socio-community resources for Participation social and civic life.
