Totana Local Police stopped early this morning to an individual 35 years of age, and of Ecuadorian origin, for alleged threats with a knife and causing injury to the inhabitants of a house in the town, according to sources police.
The arrest came after a call was received at the offices of the local police warning that, in a house in Totana, a man with a knife threatening to neighbors.
Personates in the scene, officers saw a person running away from South America, being intercepted after a short chase.
Witnesses said they had been threatened, noting that one of them had been wounded with a knife on his finger.
The officers located the knife blade length of 15 inches at the door of the house.
According to some sources of local police, the detainee was turned over to the Guardia Civil station Totana, which continued the legal proceedings.
