The Councillors for Education and Social Welfare reported that tomorrow, Tuesday April 17 at 20:00 there will be the talk entitled "Going to school: a new stage, a new challenge" in the Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail" framed in "Municipal School for Parents."
This talk, which will be given by the counselor and teacher Veronica Soriano Technical Community Service at IES Prado Mayor, was mainly directed at the parents of those students who are studying 6 of primary school and will attend 1 of the ESO in school year 2012-2013.
During that period, will explain aspects favoring the transition of these students from primary to secondary education, providing parents guidance and information on this new stage school, which coincides with other changes that occur in a key age in the development of the student: adolescence.
In addition, provide clear guidelines on how to approach the education of adolescents and how to cope with the changes of the transition to high school, highlighting the critical role of the family in adapting to the new center.
