End technical courses actively seeking employment and information developed by the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle".
These courses are part of the training activities developed by the project "WORK: A step towards employability" project that is operating in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the City of Totana and funded 20 percent Murcian Institute for Social Action and 80 percent by the European Social Fund.
The councilman of Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez, thanked the participants of the course to advance their personal commitment towards the training to find a quality job.
Through these actions are intended to inform, educate and guide the unemployed on issues related to the workplace.
It is an initiative of such socio-labor, by which it seeks to facilitate the employment of those persons in the municipality of Totana who are interested in actively participating in changing the situation of unemployment.
The workshop actively seeking employment has had a total duration of 36 hours, in which 9 people have participated and Computing course has a duration of 20 hours and have participated in it, a total of ten students.
This group formation methodology complements the individual to perform personal itineraries of insertion used in the project Work.
Through the workshop contents of active job search have known how to access the labor market attitudes to job search, occupational interests Totana job market, resume and cover letter, job interview, introduction to Microsoft Word and initiation and Internet access.
Is currently developing a training course in business, Kitchen Assistant, lasting 30 hours, and soon will start a second course of Gardening, with a duration of 30 hours.
Training sessions will take place within firms so that students can develop the skills acquired during training courses.
