The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez has made a decision with minimal public services in different areas of the City of Totana in anticipation of the general strike called by trade unions for the next 29-M in this county.
The minimum services were established, following a meeting with union representatives of the City Council last Friday, to ensure the maintenance of essential services to the community during the day of general strike.
These were fixed for cases of primary schools, the Department of Citizen Services, Occupational Center "José Moya Trilla," the municipal library, the Department of Social Welfare, Comprehensive Maintenance Service of the City and the archaeological excavation " La Bastida "respectively.
The resolution establishes the following minimum services: Nursery School (three teachers), Occupational Center (a social worker, mental health technical school and two monitors), SAC (two administrative assistants), library (an assistant), Social Welfare (a auxiliary), archaeological excavation "La Bastide" (two pawns and three guards) and Facility Management Service of the City (an administrative assistant, a plumber, an electrician, two different areas, a carpenter and two laborers).
Furthermore, when such services the number of employees availing of their right to strike is above the minimum services established, the service chiefs raffled among them until the minimum services are covered.
