The Department of Tourism has launched the second edition of the Course "Companion Guide Totana" through which to expand knowledge on urban archeology, the Gardens, the Natural Environment and emblematic corners Totana.
This course, which will last for 18 hours, will take place during the month of April and will start next March 28.
The Mayor of Totana and global head of Tourism, Maria Isabel Sanchez, recalled that one of the big bets of the government team is the strengthening of cultural tourism, sports, gastronomy, etc., as carried out joint strategies for promotion becomes an effective mechanism for job creation and economic growth in a time of economic difficulties, as we are experiencing.
In this regard, he indicated that, given the broad acceptance of the first edition of this course, it has launched the second edition focused on other important aspects of the municipality as urban archeology or orchards.
The conference will take place on the course Wednesday, at which time there will be the technical explanation, and Saturday, during which he made visits to areas that have been explained above.
Specifically, the course will be taught by the historian, Juan Canovas Mulero, for the co-director of the excavation of the strip of canvas with a degree in Ancient History, José Antonio González Guerao;'s degree in history and archaeological expert, Veronica Carricondo Gázquez; the BA in Art History and an expert in the area of ​​the Gardens, Sacramento Cantero, and the degree in Geography, Juan Gabriel Ruiz Ramírez.
