Totana March 15, 2012. - The People's Party Totana, on the occasion of World Consumer Rights held today, remember that consumption is the engine that drives our economy and make accessible products and services to improve our quality of life and wellbeing.

To regain the levels of household consumption and Spanish companies is key to restore consumer confidence through an economic policy that creates credibility, employment and wealth.

In this sense, the People's Party supports the efforts of Totana Government, from the start, working to revive the economy, always keeping in mind that consumption, especially the family, is one of the determining factors to achieve that objective.

The Popular Party deems it necessary to promote social responsibility in public spending, moderate consumption and the promotion of effective solidarity with the people who are suffering the most from the current economic scenario, and it is essential to the example of the Administration and all political representatives.

The existence of limited resources, the right to accurate information, recycling and awareness towards responsible consumption are essential lines of the present and the future of our society.

In this sense, learning civic habits must be acquired from the earliest stages of life to ensure the preservation of the resource base so that subsequent generations have the same opportunities for growth.
