City officials attended last Saturday night at the Fourth Annual Gala organized by the Association for Rare Diseases "D'Genes" which were given ten Premios'2012 recognition to institutions, companies and volunteers, during which were a number of musical performances, raffles solidarity and support of artists, journalists and other professionals.
It was attended by the councilors of Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez, and Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baeza, who accompanied some of the guests as the rector of the University of Murcia, Jose Antonio Cobacho, the director of the State Reference ER de Burgos, Miguel Angel Ruiz, the CEO of ERDF in Murcia, Juan Carrion, among others.
During the gala, the association recognized the work of many people in direct contact with patients trying to get a better quality of life of patients and their families, both in services and comprehensive care provided to the affected.
With the delivery of these awards, "D'Genes" recognizes the efforts made in research, health work, partnership support, institutional support, solidarity, volunteering, social enterprise and the person or family courage.
Wins on different modalities were: research and support for rare diseases (Dr. David Araujo Vilar, professor of medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela), medical service (professional staff of the Centre for Early Intervention ), a public institution (UMU), social work (José Pedro Tudela), solidarity (Restaurant For Sale The Rat), the professional solidarity (Roque Molina Legaz), volunteering and social promotion (Presentation Martinez), the contributor social (Andreo Victoria Antonia), and the person or courage family (family of Jose Jesus Martinez and her children, Charity and Miracles).
