The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, will perform a battery of proposals at the next session of the Commission on Security and Coexistence of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which is part from early January This year he took office, some of which are initiatives of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The mayor has had several contacts with the Minister of the Presidency, Manuel Campos, general director of Public Safety and Emergency Luis Gestoso, in recent weeks in order to invite proposals for strategic initiatives in this area to allow incorporation into the document the Commission on Security and Coexistence of FEMP 2012.
The councilor of Totana propose, on behalf of municipalities in Murcia, urging the opening of training centers of the Security Forces of the State to local police for the specific part of the same on Judicial Police and the subsequent access to the Center for Judicial Studies.
It will also propose the development of protocols for police intervention Joint Local Police and Security Forces of the State, especially in rural municipalities, which are even more necessary the policies of rapprochement and joint enforcement intervention.

Similarly, the Mayor will move totanera the need to agree with the Ministry of Interior a protocol of cooperation and coordination between the Security Forces of the State and local police involved in the municipality, so as to optimize its human resources and materials to ensure the effective implementation of municipal policies on coexistence.
