The Popular Party spokesman, David Amoros, said his group will ask the City of Industry Ministry concerned in the House of Representatives and become law, the prohibition on utilities and / or energy to leave out power to the municipalities.
The legislation establishes the essential services that should have guaranteed the supply of electric power without interruption, and among them, those who just have to ensure municipalities: street lighting, water supply for human consumption, fire facilities, police and local civil protection, transport, public service, health centers and funeral services.
Amoros said that local councils represent the administration closer to citizens by providing basic services to the residents, and is not acceptable that, because of the tense situation of liquidity and cash that currently support them, the companies undertaking the government pressure on the current economic situation, which creates liquidity problems.
The mayor said he also should be noted that municipalities provide part of the municipal patrimony for the activity of the utilities and energy, which is profitable, and local governments, as well as give space for the location of transformers and other necessary elements for supply, must be regarded as one who takes advantage of it.
The popular council said that since the People's Party consider it appropriate and necessary to discuss and adopt a law in the House of Representatives providing for the prohibition on utilities and energy may interrupt supply to the town hall, to approve subsequently as Law
