The library "José María Munuera and Abbey", located in the neighborhood of El Parral, expands its services with a new computer room with Internet access.
New Technologies Councilman David Amoros, explained that in this room has four computers furniture and thereby responding to a service in high demand by users of these municipal offices.
So far the only library users could enjoy the free internet service in the library if it took their own laptops.
The commissioning of the equipment has been made possible, according to the mayor pointed out, thanks to the renovation of old computer equipment for telecentres to be carried out by the Autonomous Community of Murcia from late last year 2011.
With this transformation were many unused older equipment, that the City of Totana being recycled and used.
These recycled computers are being used as reinforcement equipment in the same call centers, and are also leading some municipal services such as in this case that have been used for the implementation of the Internet access room at the Library of Parral, others are being donated to organizations or institutions.
