The Youth Council of the City of Totana will celebrate the occasion of the commemoration of International Day of the Rights of the Child @ which will be held on November 20, and along with associations and schools in the municipality, a program of activities for celebrate this event will take place during the coming days.
Councilman in the industry, Bartolomé Pallares, said the main objective of these actions is to promote awareness on child rights.
Organized activities include:
Reading of a manifesto on Friday November 18 at 11 am in the Assembly Room of the City of Totana with the participation of students in 6th Primary Education schools "Reina Sofía" College "The Miracle", CEIP "Santa Eulalia" CEIP "Santiago" and CEIP "The Cross".
Participation of students in 4 th and 5 th Primary Education at:
IX DRAWING COMPETITION ON THE RIGHTS OF NIN @.
The six winning entries will be used to design a calendar that is edited in 2012.
The prize is a voucher for the amount of 30 euros for the purchase of school supplies.
The awards ceremony will be held tomorrow, day 18, after reading the manifesto in the Plenary Hall.
Submitted drawings will be exhibited in the Sociocultural Center Jail November 18 to December 2.
