The Department of Citizenship and neighborhood associations reported that on Sunday, November 27, would ultimately be held elections for the Local Board's Neighborhood-Cantareros Paretón to be held in the Social Center "Juana Serrano" of this deputation from 11:00 until 13:30.
To attend elections a total of nine candidates after an extension of the deadline for them to proceed to the election of village headman and members to serve on the Local Board of Neighbors.
This was decided by consensus last night at a meeting in the boardroom, candidates for the Local Board's Neighborhood Paretón to prepare for Election Day, and participated in the council of Citizen Participation, Pedanías and Public Safety, respectively.
Candidates are Alfonso Martinez Canovas, Juan Jacobo Costa Palma, Antonio Garcia Canovas, Isabel García Merino, Jose Hernandez Victor Costa, Antonio Serrano Lopez, Catalina Serrano Mulero, Pedro and Manuel Canovas Jesus Vera Victoria Camacho.
According to the procedure laid down, shall exercise their right to vote those residents registered / residents in the area.
The most voted candidate will hold the post of village headman and the rest will be vocal in order by number of votes received.
The voting procedure is established by consensus as follows: paper will be developed that will be reflected in alphabetical order the names of each of the candidates to the Board Paretón Local Neighborhood.
Every citizen can make one, two, or three of the boxes corresponding to the selected candidates and introduce a form in an envelope with the candidates elected to the local board of Neighbors (maximum three).
According to the agreed procedure, the envelopes containing printed markings appearing in more than three candidates will be declared void / invalid / not computable.
In addition, printed envelopes containing marked incorrectly (outside the box, occupying two boxes with underlined names ...) will be declared void / invalid / non-computable, and the envelopes in which two forms have been made marked.
It was also decided that the envelopes in which two forms have been introduced: one marked and another unmarked, marking the form shall be counted, while empty envelopes or in print have been entered shall be deemed unmarked blank votes.
This procedure agreed by consensus among the attendees will be presented to the Local Government Committee on Monday, November 14, 2011 for approval.
During the meeting also agreed to conduct an information campaign for the homes, shops and attractions of the district, spreading the date, place and time of the day of voting and the voting procedure laid down.
