Users of Psychosocial Support Services have made a scheduled departure to the neighboring town of Alhama to know the cultural heritage of the neighboring town.
This full day of activities began with a breakfast prepared by Casilda, a former student intern and resident Service Alhama, who also made a guide during the day.
After breakfast, held an exhibition of the work done by the Center for Psychosocial Support of Alhama, where they could see a great variety of objects such as paintings, woodwork, scarves, necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, etc..
Noteworthy is the encounter between professionals and users of both Centres, a day which had the opportunity to share and exchange experiences as well as lay the groundwork for an upcoming meeting in Totana.
Furthermore, visited the Archaeological Museum of Los Banos, built on the ancient archaeological sites and which saw, led by the guide's explanations, the Roman rooms, reusing it in the Islamic and Christian period, and finally the construction the new spa in the nineteenth century.
The current museum has a permanent exhibition of archaeological remains such as vases, pictures, coins, ornaments, among other things.
This visit, which is within the program of outings organized by the Municipal Service psychosocial support has been of great importance and has met the major objectives set by the professional team to improve the autonomy and integration of people with mental illness, as the use of public transport, use of money, close to community services, diversification and organization of leisure and recreation, practice social skills, etc..
