The Association of Civil Protection Volunteers take from tomorrow, October 8, the medical transport service for local events and those who apply for special events and neighborhood social groups, as well as when required by the local authority for special services to be held in the town of Totana.
This particular service will be held under an agreement between the City and Civil Protection in this town, which the Association will receive 9,000 euros per year to cover costs incurred by the completion of those special services.
Medical transport service will be provided in all events organized by the departments of the City of Totana and when required by this administration.
This initiative adds to all the services included in the framework agreement that each year the city of Totana subscribes to the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers of this organization which provides numerous actions in support of public safety and welfare, in general.
Among these include forest fires intervention, support and collaboration to Firefighters, Police and Local Police, environmental monitoring service via urban emergency plan update and revision of municipal fire hydrants, among others.
In addition, Civil Defence Emergency services include local sporting events, cultural, festive, humanitarian and social disasters, swarm removal, support for market monitoring service week in The Paretón and more.
In the act of delivery of the vehicle to the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers attended by the mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Council of Health, Public Safety and Celebrations, Eulalia Sandoval, Francisco Hernandez and Alfonso Cayuela, respectively.
