Totana City will host the 17 to 21 October, the First Encounter Guide Interpolicial Canine Murcia Region to be held in the offices of the Local Police Headquarters and whose exhibits take place in the attachments to the municipal stadium "Juan Cayuela ".
The test, which is financed entirely through the sponsorship of 45 companies in this town, was unveiled today by the council of Public Safety and Emergency, Francisco Hernandez, the Local Police officer, Alfonso Canales, and agents of the Canine Unit Totana, José Antonio Valera Cape Morell and Peter Alfonso Sanchez Mendez.
The program also includes the celebration of the Fourth Course Guide Drug Detector Dog, which is organized by the Police Canine Unit Local de Totana, whose members are delegated members in the Region of the Spanish Association of Local Police dog handlers .
In the exhibition include a total of 26 officers assigned to police canine units Gijón, Alicante, Burgos, Móstoles, Ceuta, Toledo, Villanueva del Fresno (Badajoz), Las Rozas, Orgaz (Toledo), Alcorcón, Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Villarreal and Totana, since its inauguration attended by the director general of Public Safety and Emergency Luis Gestoso.
On display will participate in the service dogs of the various local police in the Annex to the municipal football field Totana, and during Drills for detecting drugs and explosives, obstacles, and joint basic obedience as well as crowd control , which will simulate a demonstration, among others.
In addition, it will be assisted over 200 children from 5 th and 6 th Primary and ESO 1, the different schools in this municipality,
The exhibition, which will be open to the general public, will begin at 10:00 hours and it is intended to bring schoolchildren to the daily work of this body and disseminate the work of these police units in their fight against trafficking drugs.
The Police Canine Unit Local de Totana (K-9) currently has two dogs: one in training, and other commonly found serving in that unit, Braco Weimaraner breed, and name Bao Dai, both participate in the exhibition.
