The Local Government Board has approved the extension of the deadline for nominations for the local board of Paretón neighbors, so they can submit their applications until October 7 morning.
This body is composed of neighborhood participation by the village headman and eight members elected by open list system, which will channel the aspirations and proposals of the residents of the district to City Hall.
Candidates wishing to stand must be registered or to be resident in the district before the nomination period and do it by request through the Citizen Service, addressed to the Department of Citizen Participation enclosing a photocopy of the DNI.

Exercise their right to vote, those elderly residents, registered voters, residents in the area before the opening of the nomination period.
Each resident may bring into the names of one to three candidates.
The most voted candidate will hold the post of village headman and the rest will be vocal in order according to the number of votes obtained.
