The Plenum of the Commonwealth Tourism Services was established Espuña yesterday in a ceremony held in the hall of the City of Totana, and in which the mayor of Aledo, Simon Alcaraz, assumed the presidency of the organ, while vice borne by the ruler of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron.
The new joint board members took up their positions, whose presidency rotates during the term of nine months by the different mayors of members according to criteria of alphabetical order, so that the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez close this term.
Commonwealth Travel Services Espuña, which was established in 2002, comprises the towns of Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Mula, Pliego and Totana.
The joint organization aims to promote and respond to the tourist development of the region in which these municipalities are inserted and which is central to the Regional Park of Sierra Espuña.
During the act of incorporation of the new House that will work this term, realized projects to promote tourism and environmental programs, has launched the Commonwealth.
The City Council of Totana is represented in this organization for your mayor and council Juan Valero Sánchez, María Josefa Alfonso Sanchez Cayuela and, while the other members are mayors and councilors of Tourism, mostly members of local councils.
