Forty-five young people enjoy the town for a week, and until July 18, the second round of the camps "Nature's Classroom" being carried out in the "Stables" in the heart of Sierra Espuña, activity framed in the "Summer Youth 2011."
This year there are 78 children who participated in two summer camps, in two shifts, organized by the Youth Council, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Biodiversity and Natural Heritage and the company doing the camps "Ecoespuña."
The councilman of Youth, Bartholomew Pallares, who has moved, along with the mayor of Education, Maria Josefa Sanchez, to the Stables to learn about the activities being carried out in the camp, explained that young people are carrying out activities aimed to promote respect for the environment, discover natural and cultural values ​​of this natural space.
Among the activities include games presentation, sports, trails for exploring the area, where you walk through the Nature Classroom environment as the path of Lentiscos, Balsa Grande, Nursery, Pine Donceles, among others) know the very important natural and scenic values ​​Espuña, dances and songs at night, green-themed scavenger hunts, craft workshops, astronomical interpretation path, orienteering, swimming in Sports, among many other activities.
Policy-makers have visited the improvement that the Department has undertaken to adapt facilities to celebrate the praises of such camps.
