The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the new Councillor for Education and Employment, Maria Jose Baeza, have closed the initial vocational training program in "Aesthetic Ancillary Services", in which involved eleven young aged between 16 and 21 years and has been funded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF).
The program was held for the past nine months at the Centre for Local Development and has had a budget of EUR 42299.6, in which participants have developed training modules of general and specific.
At this time, students have learned the basic techniques of applying makeup and waxing, manicures and pedicures, customer service, preparation of equipment and materials and work areas in safety, quality and occupational hygiene.
Similarly, participants who have also done an internship in Totana companies have learned attitudes of respect, coexistence and social participation that they can serve useful to promote their employment.
Now, they can access the second course of initial vocational training program for the title of the ESO or into work through work related to the field of professional aesthetics.
The mayor congratulated the students for completing this formative stage, he said, has led to a basic and vocational training, which may allow them to join the workforce or continue their studies.
In addition, he urged them to seize all such training activities promoted by the government to be formed in a more complex socio-economic field by the crisis and become more competitive in a labor market with many small and requirements.
