The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and representatives of the Municipal Corporation yesterday attended the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Employers of the Construction of Lower Guadalentín (CMSA) that was held at the Hotel Monasterio de Santa Eulalia, and attended members and public representatives from different municipalities that make up this organization.
During the meeting, which also was quoted the president of the Regional Federation of Employers of the Construction of the Region of Murcia (FRECOM) approved the annual accounts for 2010 and 2011 budget.
AEMC, which has fifty members, is an organization that was established in 2003 and has a district level, since they include the towns of Aledo, Alhama, Librilla, Mazarrón and Totana, its main objective the protection, management and representation the professional interests of companies in the construction sector.
The services provided by this organization are referred to the administration, counseling and management, and computer scientists.
The Mayor closed the event at the end of the meeting and reiterated the institutional support to the productive sectors of the municipality, for what has created the new Department established for this purpose.
Also showed their solidarity and unwavering support to entrepreneurs in the construction sector and announced that work on creating a climate of confidence despite the limitations of local government in a context of widespread global economic crisis so that they become that generate employment.
He explained his decision to take Department of Urban and Regional Planning to drive PGOUM document and announced that the Consistory and is carrying out the duties entrusted to us the Autonomous Region to improve and clarify the document, which is not airtight, but open and constantly changing according to the growth needs of the municipality and the social and economic situation.
Sanchez encouraged employers to continue this journey and explained that it hopes to expedite the arrival of a more generous climate conducive to the interests of the sector, which according to all forecasts can start to recover in 2012.
Employers also wanted to increase communication between members of the organization municipalities to promote sustainable growth and consistent with the needs and urged the authorities to prioritize the payment of suppliers in this sector, behind which there are many companies and families.
