The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Councilwoman Maria Jose Baeza has today closed the Course of Basic Maintenance of Buildings, which has had a total duration of 300 hours and has been run a total of 15 students and taught in the Local Development Center from Feb. 22 until today.
This course, which was funded by the SEF and has a schedule of 9:30 to 13:30, Monday to Friday, has been directed primarily to the group of unemployed persons whose screening test were more than fifty people concerned.
In the program, have two monitors that have provided the course content: one, the Prevention of Occupational Hazards and the other, the rest of contents.
The training modules covered in the course have focused on structural elements of a property, building basic facilities, basic masonry and paint maintenance, basic electrical maintenance of plumbing and carpentry, and risk prevention
In turn, they have developed other general objectives and general maintenance tasks basic, preventive and corrective, in public or private buildings, and ensure order, cleanliness and maintenance in good state of use of different spaces in the building facilities.
Similarly, participants have learned to do small repairs and facilitate the execution of maintenance or repair by relevant specialists.
Along with the different work in the classroom of the Centre for Local Development, the participants changed their physical location in relation to the place of daily delivery of the course for a few days to make direct contact with the maintenance of a municipal building.
In this case, working on the Campo Municipal de Fútbol "Juan Cayuela," where students had the opportunity to learn, appreciate and practice more closely and the reality, the state and reform an area of ​​such facilities.
