The Department of Sport Totana reports that will be shared when there is budget, a total of € 9,000 for scholarships to outstanding athletes of Totana, corresponding to the call for sporting merit in 2010.
The Local Government Committee approved last January, the call for aid to outstanding athletes of Totana, whose applications were submitted during the month of February for the call for sporting merit, 2010.
The foundation pointed out that a Commission composed of representatives of sports clubs and staff from the Department of Sports was responsible for the study of sporting merit provided by the applicants.
The commission prepared a proposal for allocation of grants was approved in Local Government dated 26 May.
A total of 9,000 euros have been distributed as follows among 21 athletes totaneros.
